Attended that show with my buddies. Still have the ticket stub and the raglan from that tour - Motörhead Iron Fist on the front and "Motörhead in AMERICAAAAGH" on the back. It was a wild and loud show - so great that it was videoed and the footage is public.

love watching old concerts... back then when there were no smartphones or social media. Just a few cameras and ppl enjoying the show like it was their last. Nowadays ppl are standing still with their phones out... actual NPCs

You all have to keep perspective on the Cliff worship. Yes, his bass play is amazing. He probably was the coolest dude in the band who wasn't even trying to be. However, can you imagine if James had been the one who died on that bus? He would have been the most posthumously celebrated metal genius ever. "What would James have done if he didn't die after Puppets?" people would say. You wouldn't have had Justice or Black album for sure. I think Justice and Black would have been similar if Cliff lived (esp Justice). Just some thoughts

Great vid! I saw them for the first time live begin 1987 at Aardschok Netherlands and was completely blown away by the power, energy and tighness of the band. By far better than all other bands that day. Unfortunately I’ve never seen Cliff live. He was sacrified a few months earlyer. Check out James’ illuminati tattoos.

No better place for Cliff to be other than a Metallica gig in those days.

I hate to talk shit but you cannot tell me that Slayer don';t miss the amazing real double bass drumming Dave Lombardo delivers always. I have seen Slayer many times and i have never heard them play Raining Blood or Angel Of Death correctly without Dave Lombardo. I for one love Dave's double bass technique which all drummers should know by now. I know Slayer is reuniting for 2 shows this year and it would be awesome to hear some fast double bass drumming for the final time. Come on Paul you can do it brother~~~! This is just my opinion, so can someone show me video of Slayer playing just those 2 songs the way they were meant to be played? I would very much appreciate it.
